Mesquite Powder is a low glycemic powder made from the mesquite pod that can be used to replace regular flour in recipes. It has a slightly sweet, malty, flavor and is a great compliment to Cacao, Vanilla and Maca.
Our Mesquite comes from the Piura and Lambayeque regions in Peru.
When ripe, the Mesquite pods are picked and low temperature dried, then milled into a powder.
